Kristin Faessen is a Programme Management & Strategic Partnerships Specialist who originally joined the Beyond Lab as a Carlo Schmid Fellow from Germany. She recently completed her MPhil in Innovation, Strategy, and Organisation at the University of Cambridge. From an initiatives standpoint at the Lab, Kristin leads on the Spillover Innovation Learning Journey in addition to supporting on the Youth Moving Beyond GDP initiative.

Initially trained in Psychology and Business at the University of Edinburgh, Kristin’s academic and research focus has explored social innovation and gender equality as drivers of systemic change. Her experience spans business development at an innovation start-up, academic research, and civic engagement through volunteering and youth summits. She is passionate about social innovation, gender equality, and advancing inclusive dialogue that bridges public and private sectors for sustainable development.
