Kristin Faessen joins the Beyond Lab as a Carlo Schmid Fellow from Germany. She recently completed her MPhil in Innovation, Strategy, and Organisation at the University of Cambridge. During her time at the Lab, will support the Youth Moving Beyond GDP initiative and the Spillover Innovation Learning Journey.

Initially trained in Psychology and Business at the University of Edinburgh, Kristin’s academic and research focus has explored social innovation and gender equality as drivers of systemic change. Her experience spans business development at an innovation start-up, academic research, and civic engagement through volunteering and youth summits. She is passionate about social innovation, gender equality, and advancing inclusive dialogue that bridges public and private sectors for sustainable development.
